4.1.1 How to access Security Settings?

  • Open the PalWallet app on your device.

  • Navigate to the 'Settings' menu, usually found in the app menu or under a 'gear' icon.

  • Scroll down to the 'Security' section to manage your account security.

4.1.2 How to use App Passcode:

  • Within the Security menu, tap on the 'App Passcode' option.

  • The screen will prompt you to 'Create new passcode'.

  • Enter asecure passcode that you can remember. It's often a 6-digit code.

  • Confirm the passcode by entering it again when prompted.

  • Once confirmed, the passcode is set. You will need this passcode to access the app in the future.

4.1.2.1 How to fix if verification couldn’t be completed due to incorrect password entries?

If you enter an incorrect passcode, you'll be notified and given the remaining number of attempts.

After 5 unsuccessful attempts, the app will block further attempts to enter a passcode.

You must wait for a cooldown period, such as 1 minute, before trying again.

4.1.3 How to set Transaction Security?

  • Scroll to the 'Transaction Security' section.

  • Here you can enable 'Transaction amount limit' by toggling the switch.

  • Set a maximum transaction limit amount (e.g., 1,500 USD) to cap individual transaction values.

4.1.4 How to enable the 'Transaction frequency limit'?

  • Below transaction limit, you have a n option 'Transaction frequency limit' to restrict how often transactions can occur. You might set it to 5 minutes or longer, depending on your preference.
