1.4.2.1 How to Access the Connected Wallets in the PalWallet app?

  • Tap the wallet name, (for instance ‘Main Wallet’) on your screen.

  • This should expand the section to show a list of all connected wallets below it.

  • Once the main wallet section is opened, you should be able to see your different wallets linked, such as old wallets, merchant wallets etc.

  • You can select any of the listed wallets and touch the three dots (often referred to as the “more” button or “options” button) to view more detailed information, transfer funds, check transactions, and more.

1.4.2.2 How to Change the Name of a Wallet?

  • Touch the three dots next to the wallet you wish to rename. This will open a menu with several options.

  • Select "Change wallet name" from the menu.

  • Enter the new name for your wallet in the prompt that appears.

  • Confirm and save the new wallet name by tapping the "Save" button.

1.4.2.3 How to View and Backup the Recovery Phrase of a wallet?

  • Touch the three dots next to the wallet for which you want to view the recovery phrase.

  • Understand the importance of the recovery phrase for wallet recovery and security.

  • Check the box to acknowledge you've read and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

  • Tap 'Continue' to proceed to the recovery phrase display.

  • Write down the recovery phrase on paper in the exact order shown.

  • Verify the accuracy of what you've written down by double-checking each word.

  • Avoid using the 'Copy' option to prevent digital exposure of the recovery phrase.

  • Store the written phrase in a secure and private place, like a safe or lockbox.

  • If you need to copy the phrase to transfer it to a secure place, use the 'Copy' button.

  • Be extremely cautious with this action, as anything stored digitally is vulnerable to unauthorized access. It’s generally advised to keep a physical copy rather than a digital one.

  • Tap'Got it' to confirm you have securely recorded the phrase.

Remember, your recovery phrase is the key to your wallet, and you must protect it as you would protect any valuable asset. Never share it with anyone or enter it into any website or app other than the official one when necessary (e.g., for wallet recovery)

1.4.2.4 How to Delete a Wallet?

  • Touchthe three dots next to the wallet you intend to delete.

  • Choose"Delete wallet" from the menu.

  • A confirmation dialog will appear, warning you about the deletion. Read the message carefully; it usually reminds you that deleting a wallet is permanent and may result in the loss of funds if you have not backed up the recovery phrase.

  • If you are sure you want to proceed, confirm by pressing "Delete" in the dialog box.

  • If you have decided not to delete the wallet, select "Cancel" to abort the operation.

Note: Deleting a wallet is a serious action that can't be undone. If you delete a wallet without having a backup of the recovery phrase, you could permanently lose access to any funds or assets stored in that wallet.
